Japan shocked at killing of BD nationals in NZ attack

Japanese Ambassador in Dhaka Hiroyasu Izumi on Sunday expressed shock at the loss of lives of Bangladeshis in the atrocious terrorist attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, reports UNB.
He also expressed sympathy for the family members of the victims.
"Terrorism can't be justified for any reason, under any circumstance," the Japanese Ambassador wrote to Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen in a message of condolences on behalf of the government of Japan and its people.
In close cooperation with Bangladesh and the international community, the envoy said, Japan expresses determination to stand up against terrorism and to overcome this difficult time.
On Saturday, Ambassador Izumi verbally conveyed to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the condolences from Japan to Bangladeshi victims of the terrorist attacks, according to Japanese Embassy in Dhaka.
