Journalist dies while covering DUCSU elections

journalist of Channel S died while covering the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) election at Dhaka University's Curzon Hall in the city on Tuesday,UNB.

The deceased was identified as Tariqul Shibli, 40, a city reporter at Channel S Television and son of AKM Shahidullah of Cumilla district.

Tariqul, father of two children, used to reside in Uttara Diabari area of the capital.

Tariqul fell unconscious around 1:30 pm and then he was taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the on-duty doctor declared him dead, said Inspector Faruk, in-charge of (DMCH) police camp.
