Justice audit system soon to stop violence against children: Anisul

Law Minister Anisul Huq said on Tuesday the government is going to launch Justice Audit System in the country soon to tackle oppression and violence against children, reports BSS.

"The launching of this system will make monitoring and updating the children oppression cases easier and enable us to complete the trial quickly.

We have completed recruitment against 41 newly-created posts at Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunals across the country for quick disposal of the cases," the minister said.

He came up with the observations while addressing a meeting with child representatives from National Children's Task Force (NCTF) at the secretariat in the city, a Save the Children release said.

"People can take law in their hands if we lose our trust in judiciary. We are trying our level best so that no such situation is created," he added.

Children's organisation NCTF, aided by Save the Children, Plan International and Bangladesh Shishu Academy, is working across the country to establish children's rights.
