Man gets life-term for rape

JHALAKATHI, Sept 09 (UNB): A court here on Monday sentenced a man to life term imprisonment as he raped a speech-impaired teenage girl in Rajapur Upazila in 2009.
The rapist was identified as Milon Talukdar, 35, son of Azahar Sikdar of Putiakhali village in Rajapur Upazila.
Additional District and Sessions Judges Court Judge Sheikh Md Tofayel Hasan passed the order and fined the convict Tk 25,000 or more six months' jail in default.
