Man held with Yaba pills in city

Detectives in a drive arrested a young man with 27,600 Yaba pills from Malibagh Chowdhurypara in the city on Sunday night, reports UNB.

The arrestee is Mohammad Shakil (19).

Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Shakil with the Yaba pills around 6:15 pm, said Walid Hossain, deputy commissioner of DMP (media).

After primary interrogation, police came to know that Shakil had long been involved in drug trading.
