Mild cold wave sweeps districts

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 6:00 pm today (Saturday), according to the Met office.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during mid night to morning and it may continue at places till noon. Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt temporarily due to thick fog.

Mild cold wave is sweeping over the districts of Gopalganj, Rajshahi, Pabna, Panchagarh, Jashore, Chuadanga and Kushtia and it may abate from some places.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.

The highest temperature of the country was recorded on Friday at 27 degrees Celsius in Teknaf , while the lowest temperature was 8 degrees Celsius in Jashore.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 20.4 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 13.3 degrees Celsius.
