Mild heat wave sweeping over 13 dists

Light to moderate rain/thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes is likely to occur at many places over Barishal, Chattogram & Khulna divisions until 6:00pm today (Saturday), according to Met office.

Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Faridpur, Sirajgong, Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Mymensingh, Cumilla, Chandpur, Feni, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Kushtia and Bhola and it may continue.

The country's maximum temperature on Friday was recorded at 36.6 degrees Celsius in Tarash of Rajshahi and minimum was 23.8 Celsius in Cumilla.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 26.5 degrees.

The sun sets in the city today (Saturday) at 5:08 pm and will rise tomorrow (Sunday) at 6:43 am.
