Mild heat wave sweeps dists

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country until 6:00 pm today (Saturday), according to the Met Office.

A mild heat wave is sweeping over the division of Khulna and the districts of Dhaka, Faridpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Sirajganj, Lakshmipur and Feni, which may continue and spread. Day temperature may rise slightly and night temperature may remain unchanged.

The highest temperature on Friday was recorded at 39.8 degrees Celsius in Chuadanga, while the lowest at 19.5 degrees Celsius in Rangamati.
