Mild heat wave sweeps dists---

Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions until 6:00 pm today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere. Mild heat wave is sweeping over the districts of Faridpur, Madaripur, Jashore, Noakhali, Feni, Chattogram, Bandarban and Rangamati and it may abate from some places.

Day temperature may fall slightly and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged.

The highest temperature was recorded on Monday at 37.6 Feni, while the lowest temperature was 18 degrees Celsius in Sylhet.

The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 35.5 degrees Celsius, and the lowest was 21.8 degrees Celsius.
