Mobile court raids Ctg diagnostic centres

CHATTOGRAM, Aug 28: A mobile court of Chattogram district administration today sealed off a diagnostic lab in the city's Jamal Khan area after finding irregularities in running the lab.

Executive magistrate Syed Morad Ali conducted the raid on Tuesday morning and on receipt of information that the mobile team was arriving to check documents the owner of the Unique Diagnostic Centre shuttered the lab and fled the scene.

As the mobile team comprising Health Ministry's joint secretary Saifullahil Azam, Chattogram Civil Surgeon Azizur Rahman Siddiqui and officials of the Drug Administration failed to reach the owner over the phone the magistrate locked the lab.

The team also sought valid documents of the Chittagong Belle Vue, Sensiv Private Laboratories Ltd and Apollo Information Centre on the Jamal Khan Road.
