Moderate rain likely in city

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna divisions today (Tuesday), according to the Met Office.

Meanwhile, Dhaka received 5.0mm of rainfall until 6:00pm on Monday while the country's highest rainfall of 50mm was recorded in Patuakhali.

The maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka was 32.8 degrees Celsius on Monday as against 34 degrees the previous day.

The country's highest temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Rajshahi on Monday, according to the Met Office.

The sun sets in Dhaka at 5:41pm today (Tuesday) and will rise at 5:53am tomorrow (Wednesday).
