Mother, son found dead at home in Sylhet

A woman and her teenage son have been found dead at their home in Sylhet.

Police recovered their bodies from a house at Mitali neighbourhood in Mirabazar around 2pm Sunday, said Kotwali OC Gousul Hossain, reports bdnews24.com.

The dead have been identified as 40-year-old Rokeya Begum, wife of Helal Khan, and their son, 16-year-old Rabiul Islam Rupam.

The couple has another daughter, Raisa Begum, 5, who was found alive on the ground floor of the three-storey building where the family resided as tenants.

Rupam took SSC exams from Shahjalal Jameya School and College this year.
