Motorcyclist killed in city road crash at South Kamalapur

A motorcyclist was killed and another was injured after a head-on collision between two motorcycles at South Kamalapur in Sabujbagh area on Wednesday, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Shagor Ahmed, 30. The injured Khadial Hossain Joy, 20, is being treated at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

Confirming the incident, DMCH police outpost inspector Md Bachchu Mia said Shagor died on the spot when two motorcycles collided on the street south of the Kamalapur foot overbridge at 05:00 pm in the evening.

Mentioning that they are trying to find out the details of the deceased, the inspector said the body will be sent to DMCH morgue for autopsy after the legal procedure is completed.
