Muggers stab farmer to death in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, Feb 18 (UNB): A betel leaf farmer was stabbed to death by muggers in front of a college in the district town early Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Jalal Uddin (42), son of Tokim Uddin, a resident of Kashipur village.
Emdadul Haque Sheikh, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police station, said a gang of muggers swooped on Jalal in front of government KC College around 4:00 am while he was going to a market for selling betel leaf.
