Nazim Chowdhury, Matiur president, general secretary

Nazim Uddin Chowdhury and Md Matiur Rahman have been elected as president and general secretary respectively of Barisal Division Officers Association for 2018-2020 term.

A 41-member executive committee has been formed for the association through an election held on February 16, said a press release.

Nazim Uddin Chowdhury is the secretary of the ministry of energy and mineral resources division and Md Matiur Rahman is commissioner of the Large Taxpayers Unit (LTU) under Value Added Tax (VAT) wing.

Information secretary Md Nasir Uddin Ahmed, divisional sessions judge M A Rob Hawlader, additional secretary Md Anwar Hossain, associate professor Md Jahurul Alam and superintendent engineer M A Mannan Mia have been elected as vice-presidents of the association.
