NBR's CIC chief Abdul Baten dies

Md Abdul Baten, director general of the Central Intelligence Cell (CIC) of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), passed away at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore on Monday.

Bangladesh Civil Service (Taxation) Association expressed deep shock at the demise of Mr Baten. He was 52.
