NILS AIUB Chapter hosts inauguration ceremony

The Network for International Law Students (NILS) AIUB Chapter recently held its inauguration ceremony at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). The programme marked the formal launch of the chapter, and brought together students, academics, and representatives from various NILS Bangladesh university chapters, says a press release.

Following the inauguration, a workshop titled 'From Legal Research to Publication: A Practical Workshop on Academic Writing and Journal Publication' was held, reflecting the chapter's commitment to promoting legal research, academic excellence, and professional development among law students.

Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder Member and Chairman of the AIUB Board of Trustees, was the chief guest at the programme. Other guests included Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor of AIUB; Professor Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences; Professor Dr. Taslima Monsoor, Advisor of Department of Law; Dr. Mohammad Zahidul Islam Khan, Registrar; Professor Dr. S. A. M. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor; and Dr. Robayet Ferdous Syed, Head of Department of Law.
