NSU holds 26th convocation

North South University (NSU) hosted its 26th convocation ceremony on Wednesday at the NSU campus. Over 3,000 students were awarded graduation degrees at this event, comprising undergraduate and graduate students.
Prof Dr. Chowdhury Rafiqul Abrar, adviser to the Ministry of Education, attended the programme as the convocation chair.
Prof Dr. SMA Faiz, chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), was the convocation speaker. Prof Dr. Anwar Hossen, member of the UGC, was the special guest.
NSU's board of trustees members Aziz Al Kaiser, chairman; M. A. Kashem; Benajir Ahmed; Mohammed Shajahan; Yasmin Kamal; Rehana Rahman; Duluma Ahmed; Prof Abdul Hannan Chowdhury; Dr. Nasar Uddin Ahmed; and Prof Abdur Rob Khan were also present.
Mr Aziz Al Kaiser said, "Today is a moment of pride and hope. The future is now yours, lead with integrity and empathy, stay true to your roots, and serve humanity with hope, as you pursue a meaningful and fulfilling life."
Dr SMA Faiz said, "This is where your minds were trained, your character was shaped, and your imagination broadened to meet expectations. Today, the world stands before you and at your fingertips."
