Participants at the 19th Architectural Exhibition titled "First Step Towards Architecture," organised by North South University on its city campus recently. The Department of Architecture at North South University (NSU) recently organised its 19th Architectural Exhibition titled "First Step Towards Architecture" on the university campus in the capital, says a statement.
The exhibition showcased innovative projects developed by students of the foundational studio courses ARC 111, ARC 112 and ARC 213.
The department's chairman, Shahriar Iqbal Raj, inaugurated the show on May 3 in presence of senior faculty members.
Faculty members who conducted the studio courses included Ar. Mujtaba Ahsan, Ar. Amity Kundu, Ar. Rishaad Mohammad Yusuff, Ms Nawshin Ahmed, Ar. Aida Hassan, Ar. Shanjida Fatema Shamma, Ms Eshana Nur Masud and Ms Jarifa Nasil.
The exhibition highlighted students' creative and analytical learning processes through a range of architectural designs and problem-solving projects.
The event also attracted students from other architecture schools, who highly appreciated the exhibited works.
