NSU signs MoU with Coppin State University

To inspire initiatives of scientific research and innovation among students and researchers, the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at North South University (NSU) hosted a seminar, titled 'Nanotechnology: Small Things Matter and Have the Power to Transform Energy, Health, and the Environment', on Thursday.
Professor Dr. Mohammad Hossain Shariare, chairman of the department, welcomed the discussants and the audience, and shared his insights while attending the event as the session chair, according to a statement.
The keynote speaker was Professor Dr. Jamal Uddin from Coppin State University (CSU). NSU's Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest. Treasurer and Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdur Rob Khan, and NSU's Dean of School of Health and Life Sciences Professor Dr. Dipak Kumar Mitra joined the event as the special guests.
Meanwhile, on the same day, NSU and CSU signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at the NSU campus to foster collaboration between the two institutions.
The key areas in the collaborative strategic agreement include: research on nanotechnology, academic staff exchange, supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research, and research project addressing global and interdisciplinary challenges.
