Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice-Chancellor of North South University (NSU) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Grameen Bank, delivered a keynote address at the International Conference on Global Leadership in Social Business Innovation: Sustainability, Science and Technology, and Entrepreneurship held in Bangkok, Thailand, on Thursday, says a statement.
The conference marked the inaugural event of Chulalongkorn University's Yunus Center at the Social Research Institute.
In his speech, Professor Chowdhury emphasised the need to redefine global leadership within the context of social business.
Key themes of his address included the role of sustainability as a core imperative, entrepreneurship as a driver of change, the importance of finance and fintech, building resilient social business ecosystems, and the necessity of measuring impact beyond traditional metrics.
