It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. ASM Sarwar Ud-Deen, former Member of the Tariff Commission, says a statement.

He sustained serious injuries Saturday night around 11:00 PM in the Moghbazar area while getting in/out of a vehicle and, despite being taken to the hospital, was declared dead by the attending physician.

His funeral and burial took place today, 7 September, after the Zuhr prayer at the Sector 12 graveyard in Uttara.

The late Mr. Sarwar Uddin leaves behind one son, one daughter, and well-wishers and admirers. The family humbly requests everyone's prayers for the eternal peace of his departed soul.

He was the second son of the late Mr. M. A. Mannan of Goalachamat Para, Faridpur district.
