Abdul Mannan Chowdhury, a retired deputy secretary of Bangladesh government, died on Wednesday at a city hospital at the age of 89.
He has left behind his wife, three daughters and host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was laid to rest at Banani graveyard after his Namaz E Janaza held after Zahr prayer on the day, said a press release.
Late Abdul Manna was engaged in various social development acuities in the greater Faridpur district.
