One dies in Jessore 'gunfight'

JESSORE, Nov 14 (UNB): A robber was killed in a gunfight between two groups of robbers in Nongorpur Mazar area on Magura road in the district early Tuesday.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Police recovered the body along with a gun, bullets, five cutlasses and one Chinese axe from the spot, said officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Ajmal Huda.

The body was sent to Jessore General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
