One gets life term in narcotics case

KUSHTIA, Aug 19 (BSS): The District and Sessions Judge of Kushtia Monday has given a person life term imprisonment and fined Tk 100000 under Narcotics Control Act 2018.
Judge Arpu Kumar Goswami announced the verdict in the presence of the accused- Ziaurl Islam, son of Yakub Mondol of Bheramara Upazila.
The judge also convicted two other accused of the case giving them one and six months' jail and fined Tk 2,000 each in default to suffer two months more in the prison.
