Order to deploy cops at mango orchards remains in force : HC

The High Court (HC) order to deploy law enforcers in mango orchards in Rajshahi to prevent the use of chemicals remained in force as the state on Tuesday withdrew a petition filed with the Supreme Court challenging the order, reports UNB.

The petition filed on Monday was withdrawn from the court of Chamber Judge Justice Md Nuruzzaman of the Appellate Division, said deputy attorney general Abdullah Al Mahmud Bashar.
