Outlaw shot dead in Pabna

Pabna, May 13 (UNB): An outlaw was stabbed and shot dead at Koladi Bijoyrampur in Sadar upazila of Pabna district early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Babul Sheikh alias Laga (40), son of Hossain Sheikh of Koladi Bijoyrampur.

Police said a group of miscreants intercepted Babul and stabbed him indiscriminately and shot him when he was returning home around 12 am, leaving Babul dead.

Babul was wanted in different cases.

Abdus Salam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, said the body was taken to Pabna General Hospital morgue.
