Police arrest four with bullets, Yaba pills in three districts

Law enforcers have arrested four people along with contraband drugs and bullets in Dhaka, Chittagong and Jessore, reports UNB.

In the capital, police arrested two people along with Yaba tablets and ammunition from Khilkhet area on Sunday evening.

The arrestees are Saiful, 25, and Munnaf, 22.

Members of Khilkhet Police Station arrested the duo and recovered 27 bullets of shotgun and 14 of pistol, one magazine and 55 Yaba tablets from Purbanama Para area around 7:30pm, said officer-in-charge of the police station Md Shahidul Haque.

In Chittagong, members of Armed Police Battalion (APBn) arrested Parvin Akter, 40, from Chhotopool Kacha Bazar area under Halishahar Police Station in the city on Sunday and recovered 194 Yaba pills, 20 bottles of Phensidyl and 65 cans of beer.

In Jessore, a joint team of APBn and Jessore District Narcotics Control Department arrested drug dealer Kajoli Begum, 32, from Buikara Gohata of Abhaynagar upazila and recovered 50 sachets of heroin on the same day.
