Police arrest NGO official with foreign currency

CHITTAGONG, Jan 01 (BSS): Members of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a non-government organisation (NGO) officer with foreign currencies worth about Tk 3.5 million in a drive in the Shah Amanat Bridge area under Bakalia thana today.

The arrestee was identified as Mohammad Selim Ullah (38), son of Mostaq Ahmed, an accountant of Co-Operatives for Human Activities, an NGO works for Rohingya camp, hailed from Cox's Bazar sadar upazila.
