Police drive nabs 1,616 people in 24 hours

Police nabbed a total of 1,616 individuals over the last 24 hours, who were accused of different crimes and had arrest warrants issued against them, during an ongoing special drive across the country. One foreign-made pistol and four cartridges of shotgun were also recovered.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) (Media and Public Relations) of Police Headquarters Enamul Haque Sagar disclosed these to the media, and said the drive would continue.
