Police nab one over Magura student killing

MAGURA, July 08 (UNB): Police on Sunday night arrested a youth in connection with the killing of a college boy at Shibrampur School field in Sadar Upazila.

The arrestee was identified as Robin, 20, son of Rezaul Islam of Nijnanduali village of the area.

Lisan, 23, son of Rafikul Islam of Mathbari village and a student of Magura Government College, was stabbed to death Sunday.

Magura Additional Police Super Tarikul Islam said tipped off, police arrested Robin from the village.

Robin confessed to police he and his friend Shamim planned to kill Lisan.
