Imam inaugurating the premiere of documentary films 'Heroes of BAF’ and ‘Kilo Flight' at BAF Shaheen Hall in the city on Saturday — ISPR The premiere show of the documentary films 'Heroes of BAF' and 'Kilo Flight' were held at Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Shaheen Hall in Dhaka Cantonment, reports BSS.
The documentaries, under the management of BAF, were made on the contribution and sacrifice of the members of the Bangladesh Air Force to the Independence War in 1971 and the formation of the Bangladesh Air Force during the war, said an ISPR press release.
The premiere show was organised to mark the 48th founding anniversary of BAF. H T Imam, Political Adviser to the Prime Minister, inaugurated the premiere show as the chief guest.
Earlier, on arrival of the Chief Guest at the venue, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, welcomed him.
The Chief Guest recalled the martyrs of the War of Liberation including Birshresto Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman and BAF members with deep respect.
He appreciated the initiative of making these documentaries based on the outstanding contribution of BAF members to the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971 and thanked Bangladesh Air Force.
