President asks physicians to provide optimum medical services to patients

KISHOREGANJ, 0ct 10 (BSS): President M Abdul Hamid asked the physicians on Wednesday to ensure optimum medical services to the patients with utmost professional attitude.

"Ensure treatment facilities to the patients with utmost professional outlook," he said.

The President came up with the remarks while addressing the foundation stone laying ceremony of Abdul Kadir Molla residential hall of President Abdul Hamid Medical College and Hospital (PAHMCH) on its campus in the district.

The head of the state also urged the teachers and other concerned to pay more attention to build skilled doctors for providing quality services.

"I am requesting all students to study properly as you can serve the people skillfully . . . And teachers will have to play vital roles in this regard," he suggested.

Referring to the treatment facilities of the PAHMCH, the President said, "It is a matter of joy that a medical college has been established after my name. But it will hurt me if any patient dies due to negligence of physicians."

"I won't accept any such incident anyway," he added.

President Abdul Hamid said this medical college will not only serve people of Kishoreganj, it will be helpful for the people of near-by areas like Sunamgnaj, Netrakona and Mymensingh as well. He repeatedly asked the hospital authorities to ensure quality services to the patients.
