President leaves for Kishoreganj today on three-day visit

President Abdul Hamid goes to his home town Kishoreganj today (Monday) on a three-day visit to attend a number of programmes there, reports UNB.

"The President leaves for Kishoreganj today (Monday) on a three-day visit. He'll address several public meetings and hold views-exchange meetings with a cross-section of people and different professional bodies there," President's press secretary Joynal Abedin told the news agency.

This is going to be his third visit to Kishoreganj since he took oath of office as President for the second consecutive term on April 24.

President Hamid will attend a public meeting followed by a cultural programme at Guru Doyal College field in the district town after his arrival.

Later, leaders of District Bar Association, Press Club, Freedom Fighters' Sangsad and professional organisations will meet the President.
