Probe body on replacing newborn with dead one

CHATTOGRAM, Apr 19: The Divisional Health Director in Chattogram has constituted a three- member inquiry committee to probe replacing a new born live baby with a dead one at a private clinic in the city.

Health Director Dr Mujibul Haque Khan formed the committee headed by Superintendent of the 250-bed Chattogram General Hospital Dr Ashim Kumar Nath as convener. Dr Shah Alam of the General Hospital is the member-secretary of the committee while officer of the Chattogram Civil Surgeon office Shahedul Islam is the member.
