Prof Abdus Salam new provost of DU SM Hall

Professor Md Abdus Salam of the Department of Chemistry has been appointed as the provost of Dhaka University's Salimullah Muslim Hall.
The information was confirmed in a press release issued on Monday by Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, director of the university's Public Relations Office.
Vice-Chancellor A B M Obaidul Islam appointed Professor Abdus Salam on May 24 under Section 18(1) of the First Statutes of the Dhaka University Order, 1973.
