Prof Daniel Lund joins IUB as pro-VC

Distinguished Canadian academic and international business education leader Professor Daniel W. Lund joined Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) as the pro-vice chancellor on Sunday, says a press release.

He is currently completing an EdD from Johns Hopkins University with a focus on Entrepreneurial Leadership in Education. He received a PhD from Griffith University, Australia, specializing in higher education organisational effectiveness and the management of diversity.

He also obtained an MBA from York University's Schulich School of Business, Canada; and a BA in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Victoria, Canada. He also completed specialized teaching and leadership training with Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Harvard Business School, and MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Dr. Lund's research interests span leadership in higher education and cross-cultural management.
