RAB nab seven with fake currency notes

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in separate drives at Gulshan, Banani and Kuril areas in the city arrested seven fake note traders including the kingpin Abu Sheikh last night, report agencies.

The detained persons are Mohosin Mia (45), Abul Bashar (40), Kamrul Sheikh (35), Isharot Mollah (27), Shahin Matbor (37) and Abdur Rahman Mollah (40).

The RAB personnel recovered 1,500 Saudi Riyal and 10 mobile sets from their possession during the drives, said Lieutenant Colonel Sarowar Bin Kashem, commanding officer of RAB-1, at a press briefing in the city's Karwan Bazar area on Friday.
