RAB quizzes FF Habibul over 'link to fraud ring'

The Rapid Action Battalion or RAB has picked up freedom fighter Bir Pratik Habibul Alam to quiz him over his suspected links to a ring of fraud, reports bdnews24.com.

A team of the elite police unit whisked him away from his office at Banglamotor in the city on Thursday afternoon.

Habibul is Managing Director of Information Service Network.

RAB spokesperson Mufti Mahmud Khan said they will question the freedom fighter over a South African ring of fraudsters currently operating in Bangladesh.

The ring earns money through dupery and sends those abroad, according to Khan.
