RAB rescue kidnapped boy, nab teacher

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members have rescued a minor boy from the clutches of kidnappers and arrested a madrasha teacher in this connection from the city's Airport Railway Station area, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Hafez Mainul Islam, 24, a teacher of Sayeedatul Abrar Madrasha of Sonapur in Noakhali district.

He joined the Madrasa one month back, said Operation Officer of the RAB-3 ASM Shakhawat Hossain.

Md Samir, 08, was kidnapped from in front of House No-331/C Madhubagh in the capital around 4:00 pm on Thursday.

Since then, the kidnappers had been demanding Tk 50,000 as ransom over mobile phone, he said.
