Rain/thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions until 6:00 pm today (Friday), according to the Met Office.

Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere. Day and night temperature may rise slightly.

The highest temperature was recorded on Thursday at 37.5 degrees Celsius in Sitakunda of Chattogram, while the lowest was 19.5 degrees Celsius in Tentulia of Panchagarh. The sun sets in the city today at 06:19 pm and rises tomorrow (Saturday) at 05:41 am.
