Road accident kills mother, daughter in city

A mother and her 12-year-old daughter were killed in a fatal road accident in front of East-West Medical College Hospital on the Ashulia Beribadh road Thursday night, reports BSS.

The deceased were identified as Jasmin Akther (40), wife of Md Fakhruddin Kabir and their daughter Saba Moni.

They used to live in a rented house in Ashulia of Savar thana, said officer-in-charge (OC) of Turag Thana Md Nurul Muthakin.

The accident occurred when a covered van hit Jasmin and Saba in the area, leaving them killed on the spot.
