Road crash kills two motorcyclists in city

Two motorcyclists died as their motorbike skidded off the road while approaching Mayor Mohammad Hanif Flyover at Dholaipar point in the old part of the city early Saturday, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Mehedi Hasan Rifat, 19, and Jahangir Hossain, 20. Injured Rabbi is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said DMCH police out-post in-charge Bachchu Mia.

The motorbike skidded off the road and overturned on the flyover around 5:30am, leaving the three bikers injured when they were returning to the city from Mawa in Munshiganj, he said quoting the injured victim.

Jahangir succumbed to his injuries at Japan-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital while Mehedi died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
