Road crashes claim nine lives in three dists

At least nine people have been killed in separate road accidents in Rangpur, Mymensingh and Kushtia on Friday, report agencies.
In Rangpur, a night coach crashed into a three-wheeler travelling in the opposite direction from Kaunia in the Nabdiganj Bazar area of Rangpur city around 9:30am.
Three passengers on the three-wheeler were killed on the spot.
One person was killed and 18 others injured when a bus travelling from Satkhira in Rangpur's Pirganj towards Kurigram crashed into another bus travelling in the opposite direction around 7:30am on the Rangpur-Dhaka highway.
A pedestrian has been killed after they were rammed by a bus in the Rangpur city's Nazirerhat area.
In Mymensingh, two friends died after their motorcycle lost control and overturned in Mymensingh on Friday.
The accident happened on the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, near Digar Kanda area in the morning.
In Kushtia, two people, including a woman, died and two others injured after a stone-laden dump truck collided with a CNG-run autorickshaw in Kushtia's Mirpur upazila.
The accident happened at Ranakharia Ghoramara on the Kushtia-Ishurdi highway around 8:30 am on Friday.
