'Robber' dies in lynch-mob attack in Chuadanga

A suspected robber has been beaten to death by an angry mob in Chuadanga, reports bdnews24.com.

Police have detained two people in connection with the alleged robbery.

The dead has been identified as 22-year-old Faruk Hossain.

The incident took place in the city's Rail Bazar area early on Saturday morning, said the police.

Locals caught a few miscreants while robbing a shop in the Railbazar area, said Abu Jihad, officer-in-charge of Sadar thana.
