RU 'B' unit entry test held

The first-year honours admission test of 'B' unit of Rajshahi University (RU) for the 2025-26 academic session was held peacefully across the country.

The examinations took place from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday (January 24) at regional centres in five divisional cities.

According to university sources, the 'B' Unit covers six departments under the Faculty of Business Studies along with the Institute of Business Administration (IBA).

The departments include Accounting and Information Systems, Management Studies, Marketing, Finance, Banking and Insurance, and Tourism and Hospitality Management.

This year, the number of seats under the 'B' Unit has been increased by five, bringing the total to 564, compared to 559 last year. Of these, 375 seats are allocated for commerce students, up eight from 367, 158 seats for science students, down eight from 166, and 31 seats for humanities students, up five from 26.
