SC Secretariat gets its first secretary

Supreme Court (SC) Registrar General Mohammad Habibur Rahman Siddiquee will serve as the Secretary of the separated SC secretariat in addition to his current responsibilities.

A press release, issued by the SC administration on Monday, stated that the Chief Justice assigned the SC Registrar General to serve as the Secretary of the SC Secretariat, effective from December 1.

Mr. Siddiquee will assume the role of administrative head for both the SC Registry and the SC Secretariat until further instructions, it added.
