The Institute of Research and Training (IRT) at Southeast University (SEU) hosted the Student Research Day 2025 on Sunday, highlighting the research efforts of its students.
A total of 55 students from various departments presented their research findings, covering a wide range of topics. The student presentations were judged by an esteemed panel of experts.
SEU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Yusuf Mahbubul Islam presided over the event. Prof. Dr. Md. Mofazzal Hossain, SEU Pro-VC ; Dr. Samina Ahmed, Chairman of the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR); and Dr. Syed Saad Andaleeb, Professor Emeritus at Pennsylvania State University, attended the programme, among others.
Md. Nafees Imtiaz (Dept of EEE), Sajed Ahamed Rifat (Dept of Pharmacy), and Shanjida Akter Preety (Dept of English) were recognised as the top oral presenters. Farhan Tanvir (Dept of EEE), Anamika Akter Omi (Dept of English), and Md. Abdur Rahman (Dept of CSE) were awarded as the top poster presenters.
