SEU ranks first in innovation, second overall in BD

Southeast University (SEU) has secured the second position in the overall Ranking and the top position in the innovation category among Bangladeshi universities, according to the 2026 rankings of Spain's education and research organisation, Scimago. In its latest report, which evaluated 10,827 universities worldwide, the Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR) country-wise data reveal that SEU has surpassed other leading universities in Bangladesh to claim first place in the innovation category, said a statement.

With this accomplishment, SEU reinforces its position as a centre of educational excellence in Bangladesh and reaffirms its commitment to delivering high-quality education, it added.
