Shibir announces panel for polls

Islami Chhatra Shibir on Thursday announced its 25-member panel for the JUCSU election.

The announcement was made by Muhibur Rahman, president of the JU Branch of Shibir, at a press briefing held at the Senate Building. Md Arifullah Adib has been nominated for the post of Vice-President (VP), Mazharul Islam for General Secretary (GS), Ferdaus Al Hasan for Assistant General Secretary (Male), and Ayesha Siddika Meghla for Assistant General Secretary (Female).

Abu Ubaida Usama has been nominated for Secretary for Education and Research, Safayet Mir for Secretary for Environment, Jahidul Islam Bappy for Secretary for Literature and Publications, Ali Jakey Shahriar for Cultural Secretary, Rayhan Uddin for Co-Cultural Secretary, Ruhul Islam for Drama Secretary, Shafiuzzaman Shaheen for Sports Secretary, Mahadi Hasan for Co-Sports Secretary (Male), and Farhana Lubna for Co-Sports Secretary (Female).

The remaining nominated candidates include Rashedul Islam Likhan for Secretary for Information Technology and Library, Hafez Ariful Islam for Secretary for Social Services and Human Resource Development, Tauhid for Co-Secretary for Social Services and Human Resource Development (Male), Nigar Sultana for Co-Secretary for Social Services and Human Resource Development (Female), Hosne Mobarak for Secretary for Health and Food Security and Tanvir Ahmed for Secretary for Transport and Communication.
